Embarcadero Media Foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of life and democracy in the San Francisco Bay Area by publishing high quality hyperlocal journalism and bringing people together to create a more informed, equitable, engaged and cohesive community.
Since founding the Palo Alto Weekly in 1979, we have built a network of 3 printed weekly newspapers, 7 hyperlocal news websites and 3 email newsletters. Our organization of more than 45 people serves 12 different local cities and towns on the MidPeninsula and Tri-Valley in the East Bay.
Local independent news media is disappearing all across America. We need community support to keep our mission alive. Please help keep your community informed and healthy by supporting our award-winning hyperlocal journalism.
Support local, independent journalism with a one-time donation.
